You will support student continuation by monitoring attendance and engagement data and proactively contacting students who appear to be disengaging. You will ensure students are contacted in a timely, supportive manner and signposted to appropriate support services and work closely with academic and professional colleagues to coordinate responses and and escape issues as necessary. Your Responsibilities Will Include Monitor student attendance and engagement data for designated academic schools. Proactively contact students who are not attending or engaging, using agreed communication methods. Provide accurate and timely records of student interactions and outcomes. Signpost students to appropriate university services and support mechanisms. Escalate concerns about student welfare or persistent disengagement to senior colleagues. Maintain collaborative relationships with personal tutors, programme administrators, and other support teams. Support the implementation of school-level intervention strategies. Respond to student queries and provide information about attendance and support services. Contribute to the development and improvement of student engagement processes. The Student Retention Coordinator Will Have Experience working in a student-facing role, ideally in an education setting. Experience handling sensitive or confidential issues with care and discretion. Skills in effective communication, particularly by phone, email, and online messaging. Experience working with data or systems to monitor or track activity. Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines. Knowledge of student support services and how to signpost effectively. Ability to work collaboratively with academic and professional colleagues. Understanding of the importance of student engagement and continuation. #J-18808-Ljbffr
