OverviewThe Bid Writer plays a pivotal role in securing new business by producing high-quality, persuasive tender submissions for lift and escalator contracts. Working closely with sales, operations, and technical teams, the Bid Writer ensures all proposals are tailored to client requirements, technically sound, and aligned with company strategy.You will manage multiple tenders simultaneously. You are responsible for managing the entire tendering process. To ensure success, you will maintain internal communication with colleagues and managers, gather the necessary input, and collaboratively develop a winning strategy—then turn it into a compelling proposal. You know how to translate the client’s requirements and wishes into commercial and persuasive texts to create winning tenders.Do you understand the tendering process both in terms of content and procedure? And do you strive for strong proposals with tight planning? Then we’re looking for you Key responsibilitiesAs Bid Writer, you will join the Tender desk department. You will collect all the necessary information to clearly respond to the client’s questions and write a comprehensive and winning (European) tender. In consultation with colleagues, you will determine the direction of the content. Using the pricing tool, you will also prepare the pricing proposal as part of the tender.Your responsibilities include:Monitoring various tender platforms and identifying opportunitiesActively seek new tender, PQQ & framework opportunitiesManaging the entire process from identifying and registering to submitting the tenderPresenting the tender to the client when neededTranslating client requirements into texts and calculationsInterpret tender documents and identify key deliverables, deadlines, and compliance requirements.Coordinating with various departmentsPlanning and tracking deadlinesMaintaining an overview of bids and evaluating won/lost bidsTransfers qualified sales opportunities to Salesforce Key skills & experiencesCollaborative team player, and results-orientedSales / Business Administration is very beneficialYou have commercial insight, tact, and coordination skillsCapable of performing complex calculationsExcellent written command of EnglishExperience in submitting tendersExcel knowledge and CRM (Salesforce is beneficial)Knowledge of procurement processes and related topics What KONE can offerWe offer a Competitive Salary, 25 days holiday and 8 additional Bank Holidays, 1 Volunteering Day, Pension Scheme, Development opportunities, and development reviews to help you achieve your professional goals.
