Assistant Project Officer | 9330 | Fixed Term Contract until 31 March 2028 | 37 hours per week | £28,598 to £31,022 per annum (Scale F) | Norwich/Holt/Hybrid Are you ready to play a key role in supporting the Norfolk Trails Team? We’re looking for a proactive and well‑organised individual to provide administrative and project support to a variety of strategic and operational projects within the Norfolk Trails team. Norfolk Trails is a promoted network of walking, cycling and horse‑riding routes, offering more than 1,200 miles of countryside access. The network includes flagship routes such as Marriotts Way, Ketts Country Trail, Weavers Way and the Boudicca Way, as well as the Peddars Way and the Norfolk Coast Path National Trail – one of only 16 National Trails in England and Wales. Norfolk Trails are more than just lines on a map. They provide opportunities for people to get out and about in nature and connect with the world around them. We’re looking for someone with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills, with experience in project support. You’ll be proactive, have demonstrable experience in administration and be confident working across multiple priorities. You’ll be comfortable working with spreadsheets and handling numerical data, and you’ll assist Team Leaders in developing and delivering projects and support systems to maintain a high‑quality access network that welcomes everyone to explore Norfolk’s amazing natural and cultural heritage.
