**JOB- Project Engineer**
**LOCATION- Devon**
**TERM- Permanent**
**SALARY- £40,000 - £45,000**My client provides design and manufacturing services within the bespoke furniture industry. They are looking for an innovative Project Engineer to join their team in Devon on a permanent basis.
**The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes**: - Degree qualified in Industrial, Mechanical, Furniture or Interior
- 3 or more years’ experience in Project Engineering from working in a similar role or manufacturing environment
- Understanding statutory and regulatory requirements applicable to the design
- Innovative and passionate with a can-do attitude
- Experience in the use of SolidWorks CAD with ability to operate other CAD packages an advantage (but drawings will be done by the Drawing Office)
- Proficient with using MS Office
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Flexible to travel as part of the role as required
- Engaged, enthusiastic and proactive with a systematic approach to work
- Able to work well alone as well as in a team

**The Project Engineer role will involve**: - As a hands-on Project Engineer, you will be taking concepts all the way through from design to manufacture and completion
- Co-ordination of the drawing’s office, purchasing, production, delivery, and site installation teams
- Ensure that project procedures are followed e.g., threat harvesting, and weekly project meetings and actions are carried out. Drawing office and workshop briefings. Checking on work in progress. Job sign-off.
- This role is very client-facing and involves working to requirements and managing relationships
- Scheduling, cost, and quality control
- Planning and implementation to ensure timelines are met
- Being involved in purchasing for projects and chasing suppliers as and when required
- Preparing the required project related documentation & drawings
- Being involved in presentations/briefings to prospective customers / clients
