About the role Goodnotes is seeking an experienced Product Director to drive the continued success and growth of Goodnotes. Reporting directly to our Founder and CEO, this role offers a unique opportunity to lead a critical component of our product strategy, impacting millions of users worldwide. The perfect fit for this role is a passionate, business‑savvy product leader. You should be comfortable managing cross‑functional teams, partnerships, and driving product strategy in a fast‑paced environment. You’ll be at the forefront of productivity tool innovation, working with a dedicated team to shape the future of digital note‑taking and collaboration. This is the role for you, if you’re excited to work on the things listed below: Responsibilities Own the business strategy, prioritization, and product roadmap for Goodnotes across tablet, desktop and mobile Manage and nurture partnerships with device makers, acting as a key liaison Drive business metrics including downloads, retention, and renewals Oversee product strategies and product development to address user needs and capture market opportunities Lead a team of 50+ members, across product management, engineering, design, and research Collaborate closely with non‑product functions, such as marketing, customer support, and executive leadership Lead budget planning and own P&L of the team Requirements 12+ years experience in product management, at least 3 of which must be at a senior operating level Extensive experience delivering and scaling B2C consumer productivity applications, ideally in a PLG, DAU‑focused environment Demonstrated strategic leadership in managing large, cross‑functional product teams (50+) Experience building products 0‑1, as well as scaling them Proven ability to manage budgets and drive cross‑team alignment toward clear measurables. Deep understanding and experience with hybrid and native app ecosystems Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills Proven track record of driving product success and revenue growth Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities Interview process An introductory call with someone from our talent acquisition team.
