We’re seeking extra special Care Workers to support people to live well at home This role will be working with both our Cowley and Headington teams. At the moment we have requests from the ladies we work with for female carers only, to ensure their comfort and wellbeing. Requirements of the Role We welcome people with no previous care experience; FULL training will be provided. You should have compassion, respect, and a desire to support people in your community. Car & valid driving licence (or a confident cyclist if just working for our Headington team). Right to work: You must have the right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available). Location: We recruit colleagues local to our teams, so we can't accommodate relocation. Please ensure that you live within approximately 5–10 miles of our Abingdon team. Shift times: 5‑hour blocks (morning shifts 7am–12pm and 8am–1pm; evening shifts 3pm–8pm and 4pm–9pm). You must be available to work on alternate weekends, as well as weekdays. Part‑time and flexi roles available. Real Living Wage employer – we pay you for full shifts (not just contact time): £14.21 p/hr for time spent supporting people and £12.21 p/hr for the rest of your time (travel, training, team meetings, etc.). Why Join BelleVie? Here at BelleVie Care, we are looking for people who know how a simple cuppa can warm the heart. The power of a compliment can make someone’s day. By just holding a hand, teasing out a smile, or sharing a laugh can mean the world to someone who is alone or living with challenges you and I know nothing about. It’s this compassion and hidden talent that you don’t think are worth putting on a CV, the parts of you that never really get to shine in your current job, the skills you don’t even know are perfect for care, that we seek out so we can ensure that the people we support can live their best lives at home. We don’t just see the value in the expected; we see value in the things other people overlook, we see you for you. If you’re someone whose warmth and kindness shines through, and who embraces their local community spirit we’d love to hear from you. Because, these are the things we value too. Be part of the community that values all of you. If you are interested in job satisfaction and a rewarding career making people smile and giving back to the community, please apply now Caring is a value and a vocation. Find a career that values you. Bring your whole self to work #Belleviecare What makes BelleVie Care different? We provide the usual help around the home – personal care, companionship, transport, and more. That’s where the similarities with other providers end. We pay for all your hours – that includes travel, training, team meetings – not just time spent in someone’s home. No experience necessary – whether you’re brand new to care or have years behind you, we provide full, supportive training and never rush you into the role. We hire people based on values, personality, and attitude rather than experience. Self‑managed teams – our close‑knit self‑managed teams make their own decisions about the people they support, with full peer backing. Qualifications support – want to earn qualifications like an NVQ? We’ll help you get there and support other ways to build your skills. Joining a community of change – we are committed to change. Our vision is a society which values fulfilling careers in care, so that every member of the care ecosystem is supported through meaningful, reciprocal relationships. What We Offer Real Living Wage employer – we pay you for full shifts (not just contact time): £14.21 p/hr for time spent supporting people and £12.21 p/hr for the rest of your time. 45p per mile mileage. Weekly paid team meeting and buddy time. Part‑time or flexi (zero‑hour) roles available. 30 days annual leave inclusive of public holidays (for full‑time workers, pro‑rata for part‑time) + your birthday off work. A supportive environment, working in a team with a variety of skills and experience who will enable you to be the best you can. Wellness activities and support. Referral scheme. Funded Blue Light Card & NACAS membership. We’ll help you train towards your NVQ if you want to grow your skill sets in care. We’ll help you launch your own linked enterprise. Hear from our team on what it’s like to work at BelleVie here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TqzSoVonTt8 You must be able to drive and have access to your own car (or be a confident cyclist if just interested in our Headington team).
