Overview An exciting full‑time Band 7 permanent post for a Psychologist with experience working with young people and their families in Tri‑borough CAMHS. The role supports the Alliance Crisis Care Team, which provides brief interventions, outreach work and crisis assessments to prevent admission to general and psychiatric hospitals. Responsibilities Complete front‑line crisis assessments and interventions. Provide brief interventions and outreach work to children and young people presenting with acute psychological and mental health problems. Work on soft clinical skills through the CAMHS Helpline. Hold an individual caseload and work alongside other psychologists in the team. Conduct comprehensive assessments, including risk assessment and development of risk‑management plans. Assist the CAMHS and/or paediatrics team with treatment planning and provide consultation to families/carers and other professionals. Deliver specialist mental health services across the West London NHS Trust 3 Boroughs CAMH Service and crisis pathway. Receive regular clinical, professional and management supervision from an experienced Clinical Psychologist. Qualifications Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with experience working in CAMHS. Demonstrated ability to be creative, flexible, dynamic and confident in problem‑solving and decision‑making. Experience working in a multi‑disciplinary team environment.
