Policy Communications Manager, EMEA

Summary Meta is looking for an experienced Communications Manager to join its Policy Communications team in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East, Africa). In the role, you will work on a range of business critical policy‑related topics – ensuring company milestones and Meta’s positions in these areas are amplified via compelling storytelling in the press and on Meta’s owned channels. From fast‑moving, high‑stakes media inquiries to proactive advocacy campaigns, this is an opportunity to shape the conversation on some of the biggest debates happening at the intersection of tech and public policy. Working closely with Meta’s policy, legal and local comms teams, you will be responsible for developing and executing clear and impactful communications for key policy initiatives, safety and security announcements, litigation and regulatory updates across Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Required Skills Policy Communications Manager, EMEA Responsibilities: Work with other members of the Communications team and partners across policy and legal to craft and execute communication plans and programs to enhance Meta’s reputation across a range of policy‑related topics working closely with regional teams to tailor these to local markets Partner with country leads to manage high‑stakes reactive press issues and defend Meta’s brand Draft and edit a wide range of materials, including messaging guides, blog posts, Q&A, briefing documents, speeches, and social copy, managing the approval process Provide communications counsel and support for business and policy leaders on high‑profile topics, ensuring message accuracy and consistency Serve as the primary point of contact with global and EMEA Communications managers on policy‑related announcements – collaborating on timelines, materials, and communications strategy Minimum Qualifications 8+ years experience in corporate/policy communications for consumer‑facing brands, or in relevant Government communications departments Significant experience in devising and coordinating advocacy campaigns designed to change policy positions via the media Experience working with and influencing leadership stakeholders across legal, public policy, product and marketing Proven project management and decision‑making skills Experienced collaborator, well‑versed in influencing others, and adept at bringing larger groups along to execute complex cross‑team projects Adept at using AI in day‑to‑day work Sound news (and overall) judgement Industry Internet #J-18808-Ljbffr
