Senior Clinical Fellow in Oncology - AOS This is an exciting opportunity to work within the directorate of Oncology & Palliative Care as a clinical fellow, supporting delivery of care for oncology patients within our dedicated oncology inpatient wards, and in our ambulatory day unit at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust (ICHT), Charing Cross site. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to develop experience of oncology outpatient clinics, under consultant supervision. We have a dedicated team of 8 consultants leading the acute oncology service, and it is a consultant‑led service. A key part of this role is to provide teaching, mentorship and leadership for the junior doctors in the oncology service. There are opportunities for service improvement projects and development of oncology experience. This would be ideally suited for someone who has/is close to completing their acute medical training and is interested in specialist training in medical or clinical oncology. The applicant would be expected to complete their training and clinical opportunities in line with their development needs. The successful applicant will have educational and clinical supervision. This post does not have any formal on‑call commitment, but the applicant would have opportunity to participate in the on‑call rota if they wished to. This appointment will be a full‑time position on a fixed‑term basis for one year. Provide high quality care to patients in oncology services, research, teaching and training, performance management, medical staff management, governance and leadership and team working.
