Job Summary A to E Training and Solutions is the largest provider of resuscitation training in the UK, delivering services to NHS Trusts, Independent / Private Healthcare Providers, Prison Services, and Higher Education Institutions. We are looking to recruit Resuscitation Officers across the UK to support the provision of resuscitation training and services. Working as part of a regional team, you will partner with our clients to deliver high-quality training, clinical leadership, and governance services. The successful candidate will require significant clinical experience in an acute / critical care setting. You may be a Registered Nurse, ODP, or Paramedic and hold instructor status in one specialty (ALS, EPALS, APLS, NLS, GIC). Regional travel is a key component of the role and a current driving licence is pre‑requisite. Given travel requirements, we attempt to maintain a good balance across the team and flexibility is encouraged from both the business and staff. Responsibilities Participate in designing and delivering training programmes in critical care, resuscitation practice and first aid. Act as a clinical member of the resuscitation team at contracted sites, providing expertise and clinical leadership to facilitate evidence‑based care and outcomes. Provide professional expert advice on resuscitation attempts, policy development, training, clinical governance issues, resuscitation techniques and equipment. Maintain and develop local and national links that develop the company’s profile and promote the delivery of resuscitation care and training. Undertake and support the programme of in‑situ simulations across various client sites. Support the development of other staff members. Participate in projects and/or research activities undertaken by the company. Undertake Resuscitation Officer roles and lead roles for client sites, as directed by the senior Resuscitation Officer(s). Provide clients with the highest possible level of specific training and education in resuscitation, as per national recommendations and company standards. Escalate and raise the profile of resuscitation issues amongst clients. Support client sites with resuscitation governance, SOP development, risk assessment and expert advice as directed by the senior Resuscitation Officer(s). Undertake specific projects in relation to resuscitation practice, course development or company result areas as directed by the senior Resuscitation Officer(s). Experience Relevant experience working in critical care/clinical emergencies. Recent relevant experience working at Band 7 (desirable). Demonstrable experience as a Resuscitation Officer (desirable). Qualifications Registered Nurse / ODP / Paramedic. Clinical qualification and instructor status in one (or more) RCUK/ALSG/ERC National Course discipline: ALS, NLS, EPALS, and or APLS. RCUK ALS/EPALS Course Director (desirable). Teaching/Assessing Qualification (desirable).
