Medical Risk Assessor - Travel Claims £26,210 - £30,300 per annum (DOE) Christchurch / Hybrid (Hybrid work available after 6-month probation period has been passed) Full training provided. Meaning more team members are being promoted internally and gaining new qualifications The company and the role: As a Medical Risk Assessor, you will be responsible for taking inbound calls from our travel customers who are needing to declare their pre-existing medical conditions in line with the terms and conditions of their travel insurance policy. Salary and Benefits for the Medical Risk Assessor £26,210 to £30,300 Free Health Cash Plan worth £1700 per annum Generous high-street rewards scheme for family and friends Free travel insurance (subject to qualifying criteria) Responsibilities of the Medical Risk Assessor Conducting comprehensive medical risk assessments using an automated system, to evaluate the level of medical cover we can provide Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of assessments and findings Maintaining customer confidentiality Ensuring that our company values are upheld Requirements of the Medical Risk Assessor A high level of competency in using computers is a prerequisite Customer service experience - helpful but not essential Be able to work under pressure Be able to record data accurately and efficiently Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with our customers Natural empathy and a flair for making a difference to our travel customers Equal Opportunity Employer Charles Taylor is proud to be an inclusive employer.
