A well-established structural steel specialist in Magherafelt is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor with strong estimating and business development skills. This key role involves accurate project costing, supporting new business growth, and engaging with clients across commercial, industrial, and bespoke engineering projects.Please see employer website for full job details & person specification.ResponsibilitiesPrepare, manage, and monitor project costings from tender through to final account.Measure structural steel packages, variations, and contract changes accurately.Prepare valuations, progress claims, and financial/commercial reports.Analyse architectural and structural drawings to determine project scope.Complete detailed material take-offs for beams, columns, bracing, and connection details.Prepare accurate cost estimates for labour, fabrication, installation, equipment, and subcontractors.Assist with tenders, bid proposals, and presentations.Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors, architects, suppliers, and stakeholders.Skills and Qualifications3-5 years’ experience in quantity surveying, estimating, or related structural steel roles.Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings confidently.Proficiency in Tekla EPM, FabTrol, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.Experience supporting business development or tender activities.Excellent analytical skills, commercial awareness, and attention to detail.Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience preferred.Area: Derry or LondonderryClosing date: 21 Nov 2025 #J-18808-Ljbffr
