Associate Practitioner – Cellular Pathology Role Overview – Provide technical support to the Cellular Pathology Department and assist in the histology section. Key Responsibilities Assist with cellular pathology procedures and work in the histology section of the Cellular Pathology Department. Manage junior MLA staff and ensure accurate record‑keeping of protocols. Follow written protocols with a keen eye for detail and accuracy. Work with human tissues of all kinds within the safety and quality framework. Qualifications Minimum A‑levels in science subjects, ideally with a background in Cellular Pathology. Experience working within a Cellular Pathology Department. Common sense, an ability to follow written protocol and an interest in science. Excellent attendance record, references and a health check are required for appointment. Working Hours 37.5 hours per week over standard core Agenda for Change hours.
