Recruitment Consultant at Insite Recruitment UK & US Private Client Tax Senior Manager Department: Private Client Tax Reports to: Tax Partner / Head of Tax About the Role Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Private Client Tax Senior Manager to join their leadership team in Ipswich. This is a key role within the practice, offering significant autonomy, client responsibility, and the opportunity to shape the strategic direction of their private client tax services. Key Responsibilities Oversee personal tax, trust, estate, CGT, and IHT matters for high-value clients. Provide strategic tax planning, succession, and estate advice. Manage complex HMRC enquiries, investigations, and settlements. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of tax professionals. Contribute to business development, client relationship management, and departmental strategy. Ensure portfolio profitability, operational efficiency, and quality control. Requirements CTA qualified (or ATT with senior experience); ACA/ACCA desirable. 7–10 years’ experience in UK private client taxation. Proven track record managing high-net-worth and complex clients. Strong leadership, commercial awareness, and business development skills. Experience with international tax, non-doms, or corporate/partnership taxation is a plus.
