Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice, looking to recruit a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join their growing team.This is an excellent opportunity for a bookkeeping professional who enjoys working across a variety of clients and delivering accurate, reliable financial support to join a really impressive firm offering fully flexible working (home working 2.5 days per week), excellent benefits and a friendly office environment.Key ResponsibilitiesManage daily bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients, primarily from the office with occasional on-site visits.Develop and maintain strong client relationships, providing trusted financial advice.Implement and manage accounting systems such as Xero.Prepare accurate financial statements, including income and expenditure reports.Reconcile balance sheets and profit & loss accounts.Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts accurately and efficiently.Assist in preparing management accounts and financial reports.Process VAT returns and ensure tax compliance.What’s on offer?Work from home 2.5 days per week25 + 8 days annual leaveEarly finish on FridaysPrivate healthcare and pensionOnsite parkingKey RequirementsAAT qualification or Qualified by Experience.2–3 years of bookkeeping experience, ideally within an accountancy practice.Proficiency with Xero is advantageous.Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple client accounts effectively.Sharp Consultancy is a finance and accountancy recruitment specialist assisting accounting and finance divisions of businesses in the Yorkshire and Derbyshire area.
