Overview Our client is an established national player, delivering professional asbestos services across the UK. The role is for an experienced Asbestos Operations Administrator based in the Romford region. Candidates from Grays, Rainham, Gravesend and surrounding areas will be considered. Qualifications & Experience Experience working within the asbestos industry. Preferably previous experience in a QC role. In-depth knowledge of asbestos management and legislation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in using the Microsoft Office Suite. Key Responsibilities Oversee and support the asbestos team/staff. Manage and delegate work as necessary. Participate in Quality Control, Method Statements and Risk Assessments. Ensure all work complies with legislation and company requirements. Engage with the operational and management side of the business. Log samples and related documents from site. Issue and maintain equipment, and undertake quality checking/calibration of equipment used and ordered. Forward reports to clients and update information accurately. Audit and inspect work carried out. Monitor and maintain regional QC records. Control the financial aspects of the business. Support the smooth running of the business. Undertake general administration duties. Attend meetings when required and manage arising issues. Build and maintain professional relationships with the company’s large portfolio of clients. Ensure all contracts are completed within specified timescales. Attributes The successful candidate will be confident and capable of taking the business a step further.
