Qualifications & Experience:
Will hold experience working within the asbestos industry.
Ideally will have previous experience within a QC role.
Will have an in-depth knowledge of asbestos management and legislation.
Experience working in this role within the asbestos industry.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in using the Microsoft Package.
Key Responsibilities:
Overseeing and supporting the asbestos team/staff.
Managing and delegating work as necessary.
Getting involved with Quality Control, Method Statements and Risk Assessments.
Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with legislation and company requirements.
Getting involved with the operational and management side of the business.
Logging samples and any related documents from site.
Issue and maintain equipment including the quality checking/calibrating of equipment used and ordered
Forwarding reports to clients and updating all information accurately.
Auditing and Inspection of work carried out.
Monitor and ensure maintenance of regional QC records.
Controlling the financial side of the business.
Enable the smooth running of the business.
Undertaking General administration duties.
Attending meetings when required and dealing with any issues that may arise.
Build and maintain a professional relationship with the company's large portfolio of clients.
Ensuring that all contracts are completed within specified timescale.
