Specialty Doctor in Anaesthetics role at Dominion Group Entertainment, L.L.C. Job Summary Thank you for your interest in this role. An opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated doctors to work in the Anaesthetic and Critical Care department at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS foundation trust. The role will facilitate delivery of an expanded Anaesthetic service and will require in and out‑of‑hours work in Anaesthetics and/or Critical Care, with opportunities for elective, emergency anaesthesia sessions, and flexibility for solo or CPD‑supported lists. It will enable an individual to gain competencies and support application for CESR if desired, or progression to Specialist Doctor in the future. The position offers support for exam preparation, in‑house teaching, clinical governance, quality improvement projects and potential SPA roles. Main duties of the job The overriding purpose is to support the provision of the highest quality patient care through personal actions and continuous improvement. The successful candidate will participate in 1st or 2nd‑on‑call for Anaesthetics, obstetric on‑calls, and/or further tiers, based on experience. The current rota structure follows a 1:8 pattern.
