Job Title: Learning Support Mentor Location: Wythenshawe, M23, Manchester Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM Pay: GBP13.69 to GBP15.87 per hour Start Date: ASAP Contract: Long-term Reeson Education are recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Mentor to join a supportive SEMH school in Wythenshawe. This full-time, long term role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping children of primary age. As a Learning Support Mentor, you will work closely with pupils across primary key stages, supporting a range of needs including SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, and other learning difficulties. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, assist with behaviour management, and help create a structured, nurturing environment. Learning Support Mentor Key Responsibilities Support pupils of primary age with SEMH and complex learning needs Deliver 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs Encourage positive behaviour, social skills, and emotional development Work alongside teachers and SENCOs to implement personalised strategies Support learning across the curriculum and help pupils stay engaged and motivated Maintain clear records and communicate effectively with staff and parents Learning Support Mentor Requirements Experience supporting children with SEMH, ASD, ADHD, MLD, or other additional needs Patient, adaptable, and resilient with excellent communication skills Ability to provide structure, encouragement, and guidance to pupils Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness) Passionate about making a positive impact on young people's lives This is a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Mentor who thrives in a challenging yet rewarding environment.
