They are seeking a commercially minded and highly motivated Sales & Hire Executive to join their busy Stratford-upon-Avon depot.This is a 100% office-based internal sales position, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. If you enjoy turning enquiries into orders, managing multiple systems at once, and speaking with customers throughout the day, this role offers a fantastic opportunity.The RoleYou will sit at the centre of day-to-day sales operations—handling inbound enquiries, generating accurate quotations, converting opportunities into confirmed orders, and supporting customers with hire and delivery coordination.This is a hands‑on, transactional sales role focused on speed, accuracy and excellent service. It is not a field-based or strategic business development position, but you will contribute to wider sales initiatives and help grow the customer base.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond to inbound calls, emails and online enquiries throughout the dayPrepare, issue and follow up hire and sales quotations efficiently and accuratelyProactively chase quotes to maximise conversionMake outbound calls to existing customers and new prospectsSupport monthly sales and business development projectsProcess orders, hire contracts and client data using Sage and CRM systemsMaintain accurate, up-to-date customer records and activity logsWork collaboratively with office, yard, transport and operations teamsAssist with simple marketing tasks such as email campaigns and lead follow-upProvide holiday/absence cover across sales and operations, including:Sales administration and order processingLiaising with logistics and yard teamsRaising invoices and processing delivery paperworkHandling incoming enquiries and ordersWhat We're Looking ForEssentialExperience in Internal Sales, Hire Desk, Trade Counter or office-based B2B salesConfident communication skills and comfortable handling high call volumesExcellent organisation with strong accuracy and attention to detailHigh level of computer literacy with the ability to manage multiple systemsSelf‑motivated, commercially aware and results‑drivenComfortable working under pressure in a busy, transactional environmentProactive, flexible and supportive within a small teamDesirableBackground in construction, plant hire or similar product-based environmentsExperience with HubSpot (or similar CRM), Outlook, Excel and SageWhat's on OfferCompetitive base salary (DOE) + performance-based commissionFull-time, permanent positionMonday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pmOffice-based role in Stratford-upon-AvonSupportive team cultureOn-the-job training and long-term development opportunitiesRhodium Consulting Ltd is a niche recruitment consultancy specialising in wholesalers, merchants and distributors within the building products sector.
