About the RoleWe are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Sales & Hire Executive to join their growing team at their Stratford-upon-Avon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded, self-motivated individual with a passion for delivering results in a fast-paced environment. This is a 100% office-based role focused on high-volume, transactional sales activity rather than field-based business development. You'll be handling inbound enquiries, preparing accurate quotations, following up to secure orders, and proactively contacting existing customers and new prospects. Success will be measured by speed of response, quote accuracy, conversion rates, and disciplined use of systems. The role requires strong attention to detail, particularly around product selection, stock availability, delivery planning, hire coordination, and logistics scheduling. You'll need to be highly organised, computer-literate, and comfortable working under pressure in a busy environment.Key ResponsibilitiesRespond promptly to inbound telephone and email enquiriesPrepare, send, and follow up on accurate hire and sales quotationsProactively chase quotations and convert opportunities into confirmed ordersMake outbound calls to existing customers and new prospects to generate businessSupport business development projects in line with monthly sales plansAccurately process orders, hire contracts, and customer records using Sage and CRM systemsMaintain clean, up-to-date customer data and activity notes in the CRMCoordinate with internal teams including office, yard, transport, and operationsAssist with simple marketing activities such as email campaigns and lead follow-upProvide holiday and absence cover across sales and operations, including general sales administration and order processingLiaising with yard and logistics teamsRaising invoices and processing delivery paperworkHandling incoming orders and customer enquiriesWhat We're Looking ForProven experience in Internal Sales, Hire Desk, Trade Counter, or office-based B2B sales (essential)Experience within construction, plant hire, or a product-based environment (advantageous)Confident telephone manner and ability to manage high call volumesHighly organised with exceptional attention to detail and accuracyStrong computer literacy and ability to multitask across multiple systemsSelf-motivated, commercially minded, and results-drivenComfortable working in a busy, pressurised, transactional environmentProactive, flexible, and willing to support wider office operationsProficiency in HubSpot (or similar), Outlook, Excel, and Sage (desirable) #J-18808-Ljbffr
