Based within the EDI team, the appointed EDI Officer would be responsible for supporting and providing expert in-depth EDI expertise and advice and contributing to the delivery of the Trust’s EDI objectives. Key responsibilities Support the Head of EDI with the Trust’s equality, diversity and human rights agenda to mainstream equality and diversity throughout the organisation’s culture, workforce practices and healthcare provision. Project manage programmes and work streams using project management tools and quality improvement methodology. Analyse and interpret data and complex information, and present contentious data where required. Provide expertise on reasonable adjustments and manage allocated workstreams. Support the Trust’s Inclusion Board agenda setting and continuous engagement activity. Work with key stakeholders to implement and review effective processes, e.g. Oversee Equality Impact Assessments, to ensure that service developments reflect the needs and priorities of different groups.
