The candidate should then bring it to interview as confirmation that an agreement has been granted.Due to maternity leave, an opportunity has arisen for the position of Senior Charge Nurse within the Theatre department at Forth Valley Royal Hospital. FV Theatre Department consists of 16 Operating Theatres within Forth Valley Royal Hospital and 2 Operating Theatres at Falkirk Community Hospital.As SCN you are responsible for the development and operational management of approximately 45 staff across a continuum of beginner to proficient.You will be responsible for specific theatres/areas within the department, including general surgery, breast, gynaecology, ENT/Max Fax, Urology & Ophthalmology specialities, anaesthetics, and recovery. This is a clinical based role, enhancing the management of the teams. You will work alongside two theatre coordinators, while roles will be aligned within job descriptions.Qualifications and experience: Clinically experienced theatre nurses/operating theatre practitioners in Anaesthetics, Scrub & Recovery. Visionary, collaborative and proactive leadership and coaching skills are essential for success in this role.You must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
