The role supports the planning, execution, reporting, and analysis of commercial activity. It produces clear insight for senior leaders by coordinating, generating, and presenting global performance reporting. This role builds consistent reporting packs and ensures that data is clear, accurate, and ready for executive review.You will work closely with commercial, insight, and analysis teams across global, regional, and territory levels. It maintains strong standards across tools and techniques and improves how teams use data. It brings clear insight to weekly and monthly reporting, quarterly reviews, annual budgets, and mid-range planning. It highlights trends, explains shifts in performance, and supports better commercial decisions.ResponsibilitiesDaily interaction with territory analysts based within the EUR, MEATICS & ANZ RegionWork together with Global Insight Team and equivalent regional peers, contributing to the development and coordination of the regular reporting functionSource of truth in weekly reporting and commentary of regional performance on hardware, peripherals, and software, collaborating with other teams to form a holistic pictureResponsible to deliver market commentary and insight at a weekly and monthly level, and during Budget and quarterly reviewsContribute to the development of analytical tools and methodologies to support wider Global Sales Planning & Analysis (GSP&A) teams, including Demand Planning and ForecastingCollaborate with global and EMEAs territories, in both directions, to avoid duplication of effort and ensure priorities are alignedDemonstrate best practice approach to analysis, working closely with global and EMEA territories to improve quality of insight and ensure the best regional analysis has Global impactManage quarterly forecast, half year review and Budget processes across EMEA, helping to achieve consensus between cross‑functional teamsDeputise for the Senior Manager SP&A EMEA as requiredPartner with wider teams on insight and analysis around hardware, peripherals and softwareQualificationsAdventurous and persuasive communicator, with the ability to articulate analysis effectively and challenge established thinking backed up by dataRelevant experience as a senior analyst, data analyst, or other related occupationExperience with AI tools preferredAbility to manage and balance multiple tasks and projects with a keen eye for detail – precision, accuracy, and astute attention to detail are essentialAble to identify and develop opportunities to improve, innovate and/or pioneer new ways of working through continuous process improvement practicesFlexible approach to working hours to support global sales and business operationsPatient, persistent, pragmatic, and diplomaticExcitement and interest in video games, and deep knowledge of the gaming industry is an advantageSupply Chain and Ops knowledge and experience an advantageBSc/BA in Business/ Economics, Science or Mathematics preferredStrong Excel skills requiredExperience with DOMO, MicroStrategy, Tableau, IBP, Qliksense, Power BI an advantageDatabase querying experience (SQL) preferredBenefitsDiscretionary bonus opportunityHybrid working model (Flex modes)Private Medical InsuranceDental Scheme25 days holiday per yearOn Site GymSubsidised CaféFree soft drinksOn site barAccess to cycle garage and showersEqual Opportunity StatementSony is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
