This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in coordinating and managing rail replacement operations during periods of planned and unplanned service disruption. Due to the nature of the work, this position is offered on a zero‑hour contract basis, with a variety of shift patterns available – primarily during weekends and at various locations across London. Key Responsibilities Plan and manage replacement bus and coach services to ensure seamless passenger journeys during rail disruptions (both planned and emergency). Complete and maintain all job‑specific documentation accurately and promptly. Deliver a high‑quality, customer‑focused response, ensuring excellent service standards at all times. Collaborate effectively with colleagues, external suppliers, and stakeholders to achieve operational objectives. Promote and maintain health and safety, taking responsibility for your own safety and that of others, and promptly reporting any unsafe acts or conditions. Perform additional duties as required and appropriate to the role. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with colleagues and suppliers. Calm, professional, and methodical under pressure, particularly in fast‑paced or high‑stress situations. Flexible approach to working hours, including shift work on a rota basis (covering middle and late shifts).
