Application Support Analyst

We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to join our team based at York. As an Application Support Analyst you will investigate, resolve and report problems with technology systems and processes. Role Details Annual salary up to £28,000 - £32,000 dependent on skills and experience. Plus an annual on target bonus of 5% Role based: York (office based for 3 months, moving to a hybrid role after training has been completed) Contract type: Permanent Annual leave of 25 days per annum plus bank holidays and opportunity to buy an additional 5 days each year. In this role you will be required to: Deliver service excellence by responding promptly to user requests and enquiries. Monitor and resolve tickets submitted through the incident management system, escalating where appropriate. Liaise with IT teams and stakeholders to collate, record, analyse and promptly report relevant information. Conduct audits and investigations into system or process issues, recommending corrective actions. Produce and maintain accurate, clear and up-to-date system documentation for applications and infrastructure. Respond promptly to requests and enquiries, resolve issues and Identify opportunities for process improvement. Support the evaluation, testing and introduction of new processes, applications and system changes. Ability to fault-find and provide resolutions to issues. Ability to produce and maintain clear, accurate documentation. Knowledge and some experience of incident management processes and tools. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communicator, able to work effectively with cross functional stakeholders.
