Discipline: Water Treatment Engineers/PlumbersOur client is a notable water management company known for providing water treatment/hygiene and legionella services to a mixed portfolio of clients. They are currently recruiting for an experienced, multi‑disciplined and hardworking Water Treatment Engineer/Plumber based in and around the Dartford area. The successful postholder will be experienced in carrying out routine water treatment duties including cleaning and chlorination on hot and cold water system and cooling towers. The ideal applicant will also be a qualified plumber with experience in carrying out remedial plumbing duties. Consideration will be given to applications from Croydon, Tonbridge, Bromley, Mitcham, and the surrounding areas.Qualifications & ExperienceExtensive experience working as a Water Treatment Engineer within the water treatment industry.Previous hands‑on experience carrying out remedial plumbing at a mixed portfolio of sites is essential.NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing is beneficial.Full knowledge of Health & Safety procedures/legislation and the water treatment industry.Good chemical, technical and educational background.Proficient in using MS Office.Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.Duties within the RoleCarrying out cleaning and chlorination on both hot and cold‑water systems, boilers, cooling towers, shower heads and flushing.Descaling, disinfection and tank cleans and dosing.Conducting temperature monitoring, routine sampling, analysing water systems and interpreting results.Performing planned preventative maintenance on all dosing equipment as required.Completing worksheets for work carried out appropriately.Collating and providing accurate reports.Visiting sites as per client’s requirements.Building and maintaining professional rapport with the company’s mixed portfolio of clients.The successful post‑holder will be versatile, flexible, have good work ethic, carry out the work effectively and within timelines, and be flexible with regards to travelling.An attractive salary, depending on expertise, company vehicle and many other benefits await the right candidate.Future Select is recruiting in the Water Treatment/Hygiene industry and supplies the majority of permanent jobs in the market. #J-18808-Ljbffr
