We’re currently seeking a Mobile Electrical Service Engineer to join our Mobile South team, servicing Berkshire, Hertfordshire, and South Bucks.The RoleAs a Mobile Electrical Service Engineer, you will maintain and service electrical systems across a variety of commercial and residential sites. This role offers exposure to mechanical systems, air handling units, pumps, and plant equipment. We provide on-the-job training to expand your skills across multiple trades and become a versatile engineer.What You’ll DoDeliver electrical installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and repair across diverse sites.Perform planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and ensure accurate documentation.Respond swiftly to breakdowns, minimising downtime for clients.Manage and track spare parts and coordinate remedial work.Conduct risk assessments to uphold health and safety standards.Follow Permit to Work procedures to maintain safe working environments.Collaborate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and team members.Participate in a regional on-call rota for out-of-hours support.Maintain tidy, compliant plant rooms and keep tools and test equipment in excellent condition.Engage in continuous learning and development, broadening your expertise across mechanical and building systems.What We’re Looking ForRecognised industry qualification in Electrical work.Proven experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding, and diagnostics.Knowledge of mechanical systems, air handling units, pumps, and building management systems is a plus.Strong communication skills with the ability to build professional relationships.Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Valid UK driving licence.Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.What We OfferCompetitive salary and benefits package.24 days annual leave plus public holidays.Life insurance cover.Employee discount schemes on major retailers.Gym membership and cycle-to-work discounts.Holiday purchase scheme.Two corporate social responsibility days each year.Extensive learning opportunities including professional qualifications and tailored training.Attractive employee referral rewards.Access to employee networks including Women in Equans, RISE (BAME), LGBTQI+, Working Parents, Young Persons Network, and Disability Network.24/7 Employee Assistance Program and mental wellbeing app.About UsEquans is a global leader in energy services, operating in over 50 countries with nearly 100,000 employees worldwide.
