Hahn Electrical is seeking a motivated and capable Electrical Engineer to join our Perth based team on a full‑time, permanent basis. We are recognised leaders in hard rock underground mining services and support some of the largest mining operations in Australia. Our Perth team is expanding, and we’re offering an opportunity for the right engineer to be part of our growing operation. About the Role We are looking for an Electrical Engineer with 3-4 years of post‑graduate experience in an industrial, electrical, or mining environment. Exposure to underground operations and high voltage systems will be highly regarded. This role is hands‑on, technically varied, and offers direct exposure to project delivery in a mining context. You will work alongside a team of experienced professionals, with strong mentorship and support to guide your long‑term development. Key Responsibilities Participate in the preparation of technical project work packages and document control Design and specification of custom switchgear and electrical systems Power system modelling (load flow, protection coordination, arc flash analysis) Development of control and communication system integration PLC design and programming Project management and technical leadership opportunities Support engineering and manufacturing tasks in a practical, hands‑on environment Assist in the development and maintenance of structured project documentation Contribute to the standardisation of scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting processes Update technical drawings and schematics using CAD software Collate and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and materials lists What You’ll Need Recognised degree in Electrical Engineering and eligibility for MIEAust CAD drafting experience (AutoCAD or similar) Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project) Strong verbal and written communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organisational ability Current WA Driver’s Licence You will also be required to complete a pre‑employment medical and drug and alcohol screening.
