This is an excellent opportunity to join a progressive local authority committed to keeping children safe, supporting families effectively, and promoting positive long-term outcomes. You will hold a manageable caseload of around 11-15 children, completing high-quality Child and Family Assessments under Section 17 and Section 47 of the Children Act 1989. The work will involve managing new referrals, undertaking risk assessments, and working collaboratively with children, families, and partner agencies to identify needs and implement support plans. You will participate in child protection conferences, strategy meetings, and legal planning forums, ensuring that all work meets statutory requirements and best practice standards.
