You don’t need any previous experience to become a support worker with Sense. We’ll give you full training for our part time and full time roles.
We now have an opportunity available for a Support Worker to join our service in Walthamstow, London. This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week.
Our service is Castleton Road, we are a lovely home to six adults with a range of support needs. The duties are varied and no two days will be the same. The people we support are individuals and they are all treated as such. As a general guide, you may support with personal care needs, as well as help to take part in a wide range of special interests and activities that support their health and wellbeing. The team has particular expertise in supporting people with learning difficulties and multi-sensory impairments to maximise their potential. People we support are enabled to access varied indoor and outdoor activities like Rock climbing, swimming, Horse riding, cycling and trampolining. Our service is rated “GOOD” by CQC.

No two days will be the same

Everyone we support is an individual, so their care is as unique as they are. You can see a more detailed description of duties in the job description attached at the bottom of this advert.
Please note, this role may include regular sleep-in shifts. (This means sleeping over at the residence, with the possibility you might have to wake up to provide care in the night.)
