ResponsibilitiesTeaching and inspiring students with special educational needs across Key Stages 3 and 4Planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons that promote progress and confidenceWorking collaboratively with Teaching Assistants to support individual learning goalsManaging behaviour positively and fostering an inclusive, safe classroom environmentSupporting students’ social, emotional, and communication developmentLiaising with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure holistic support for each student RequirementsQualified Teacher Status (QTS) – secondary or primary trainedExperience teaching students with SEND in a specialist or mainstream settingKnowledge of strategies to support learners with Autism, MLD, and communication difficultiesExcellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skillsA patient, compassionate, and resilient approach to teaching What we offerIn return, you will be part of a forward-thinking school community where every child is valued and supported to achieve their best.
