COMMUNITY PAEDIATRIC SPECIALIST GRADE DOCTOR (THURROCK) Join to apply for the Community Paediatric Specialist Grade Doctor (Thurrock) role at NHS North East London. Location: Gifford House, Thurrock Community Hospital, Long Lane, Grays, RM16 2PX. Salary: £96,990 - £107,155 per annum (Pro‑rata). Contract: Substantive. Hours: Full‑time – 10 programmed activities (DCC: SPA = 8:2). On call: None. Qualifications Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice. Mastery in the management of a broad range of physical health conditions in babies, children and young people, including neurodevelopmental disorders. At least 4 years post‑graduate training including 2 years community paediatrics (or demonstrate equivalent experience and competences). Knowledge and training in Child safeguarding. Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team. Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise with other external health providers and acute hospitals. Participate in the local Child Protection rota. Support your peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative. Work alongside 5.6 wte Consultant Paediatricians, 2.8 wte Specialist Grade Doctors and 1 wte Specialty Doctor within the service.
