Trust Doctor (eqv ST8+) in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Trauma We are seeking an enthusiastic Post‑CCT Fellow in Paediatric Orthopaedics and Trauma to join our team at The Royal London Hospital, Whitechapel. You will join a large and dynamic department of consultant orthopaedic surgeons, five of whom have a paediatric orthopaedic interest (one part‑time). Our elective and trauma services are delivered in state‑of‑the‑art facilities at The Royal London Hospital, which opened in March 2012. Start date: At the earliest mutually convenient opportunity. Essential Requirements Full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). Ideally on the Specialist Register or within  months of obtaining CCT. Responsibilities Continuing responsibility for the care of patients in the paediatric orthopaedic and trauma service, including all administrative duties associated with patient care. Liaison and communication with the Lead Clinicians for Paediatric Orthopaedic and for Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery and the General Manager and Clinical Director for the Surgery and Anaesthesia Directorate. Development of your own interests within the specialty complementary to the existing subspecialties of the paediatric orthopaedic consultants, including active participation in research programmes. Corporate and individual responsibility for the professional management of doctors in training.
