Job Summary We are looking for a Band 7 HCPC registered Radiographer with MRI accreditation to join our MRI team at the Royal London Hospital (RLH). The successful candidate will provide clinical expertise, stability and leadership to the department and will work during extended hours as part of a 7‑day service. Main duties of the job Perform a wide range of specialist MRI scans, including emergency and in‑patient services, within a 7‑day, extended hours service. Supervise Band 6 radiographers, imaging assistants, students and visitors. Manage patient flow, ensuring same‑day scanning for emergency and in‑patient cases. Coordinate with radiologists and other clinicians to unblock scanning barriers, including prompt prototyping, conditional device checks, sedation and GA bookings. Deliver high‑quality patient care, manage complaints and support patient and carer satisfaction. Participate in protocol development and implementation of new scanning procedures. Provide training and mentoring to team members in MRI practice and safety. Take on on‑call and out‑of‑hours duties as required.
