Are you a client-focused account manager with a passion for driving strategic growth in the payments industry? Thredd is seeking an exceptional Senior Account Manager to join our team in London and take ownership of our most valuable client relationships. You'll act as the trusted advisor and primary advocate for a portfolio of strategic clients, leveraging your expertise to influence cross-functional teams, drive significant revenue growth, and secure long-term partnerships. Your ability to stay ahead of industry trends, spearhead process improvements, and foster strong, consultative relationships will be key to positioning Thredd as a strategic partner delivering exceptional value and sustainable client success. What you’ll be doing as a Senior Account Manager Building and nurturing trusted relationships with mid-to-senior stakeholders, acting as the primary client advocate while aligning Thredd’s goals with client needs. Managing client commercial requirements by serving as the central contact, delivering Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs), presenting performance metrics, and analysing trends. Maintaining strong knowledge of the payments sector and Thredd’s products while enhancing processes such as pipeline management, deal qualification, reporting, and Salesforce record-keeping. Driving revenue and margin growth by meeting sales quotas, identifying cross-sell / upsell opportunities, leading contract renewals, and maximising Net Dollar Retention. Collaborating with Implementations during onboarding to up-sell, ensuring smooth go-live transitions, and with Customer Care to resolve operational issues via Jira dashboards. Representing Thredd at industry events, leading strategic meetings to develop Account Development Plans, and promoting client participation in case studies, PR, and marketing initiatives. Supporting Credit Control by resolving billing issues promptly, ensuring clients remain current, and managing personal goals to deliver consistently. What you bring to the Senior Account Manager position Strong account management experience within financial services handling key accounts and enterprise clients Solid understanding of payment processing and the wider tech and payments landscape Proficiency in analysing sales data, metrics, and trends to drive insights and decision-making Ability to influence stakeholders and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements in contracts and client interactions Competence with CRM software, Microsoft Office suite, and other core account management tools Accuracy and thoroughness in maintaining client records, reporting, and commercial documentation Capability to manage conflicts and challenging situations diplomatically while adapting to evolving requirements Where you’ll work Our working model varies depending on the specific role and team requirements.
