As a Senior Account Manager, you’ll be more than just a point of contact - you’ll act as a strategic partner, working with clients to shape their digital roadmaps, unlock growth and deliver measurable value over time. This role is perfect for someone who loves nurturing client relationships and driving growth - a big-picture thinker who can also get into the details when needed. You’ll form senior-level client relationships, lead roadmapping sessions and make sure every project aligns with your clients’ long-term objectives. You’ll work closely with the Senior Management Team, driving account growth and helping the agency to build upon its recent growth and successes. What You’ll Do Own key client partnerships – Forge strong, strategic relationships with public sector and private clients, becoming a trusted advisor and ensuring seamless delivery from kickoff to launch and beyond. Drive account growth – Manage scope, budget, resourcing and strategy. Drive continuous account expansion by spotting upsell and value-add opportunities. Champion client value – Deliver quantifiable impact via quarterly business reviews, success planning and roadmap presentations, showing clients the long-term value of partnering with JBi. Respond to competitive tenders – Support the strategic direction and narrative of tender responses and public sector bids, working with internal stakeholders to ensure submissions are compliant as well as persuasive. Collaborate across teams – Work closely with UX, design, dev and content teams to shape solutions built around user insights and ensure delivery stays ambitious, high-quality and accessible. Required Skills & Experience A proven track record in creating digital roadmaps and driving long-term client strategies Strong commercial acumen, with a history of spotting and closing growth opportunities 5+ years in account management or client services (including 3+ years at senior level in a digital agency or consultancy) Strong knowledge of UX, digital transformation, and marketing, with the ability to translate technology into business value Confidence in influencing and engaging C-suite and senior stakeholders Exceptional presentation, storytelling, and negotiation skills Nice-to-have Familiarity with CMS platforms like Drupal, Umbraco and WordPress Experience with GDS, Digital Service Standard, or WCAG accessibility Experience with the public sector or regulated industries (finance, healthcare, or government) Proven success in leading and shaping public sector tenders/RFPs Contributions to industry events, panels, or publications Experience managing complex, multi-region, or high-value accounts What You’ll Get A competitive salary and pension contributions. 33 days' holidays as standard (including bank holidays).
