As a vital member of our Pharmacy Services, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of outpatient pharmacy services. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers a competitive salary, including an annual bonus. Responsibilities Work with the Pharmacy Manager to provide day-to-day leadership and management for all Pharmacy Services when acting as the Responsible Pharmacist. Ensure the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of outpatient pharmacy services at King’s College Hospital London, following national and local standards. Provide leadership and act as a role model for the support staff of KCH outpatient pharmacy. Fulfil statutory responsibilities as required by the General Pharmaceutical Council and the Department of Health. Contribute to the development of a high-quality and timely outpatient service for patients. Develop effective working relationships with prescribers. Contribute to the development of appropriate additional clinical or patient-centered services. Contribute to the optimization and development of the overall profitability of the business. Contribute to the efficient management and administration of the business. Qualifications & Requirements Registered Pharmacist with relevant qualifications. Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a hospital or clinical setting. Strong leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of national and local pharmacy standards and regulations. Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
