OverviewRole: Head of Business Development / Business Development DirectorBase Salary: £70,000 £75,000 (OTE up to £140,000, uncapped)Location: National (Hybrid / Flexible)Sector: Social Housing | Local Authorities | Tier 1 Frameworks | Net ZeroAbout The BusinessOur business is firmly established within the social housing and local authority sectors, operating across a number of key national frameworks with excellent ratings and strong existing relationships.With robust infrastructure and national delivery capability already in place, we are now entering our next phase of growth, expanding our reach, deepening engagement with Tier 1 contractors, and supporting the UKs journey to Net Zero through sustainable refurbishment, retrofit, and energy efficiency solutions.To support this strategic expansion, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Head of Business Development / BD Director to lead our revenue generation efforts and capitalise on the significant opportunities available through our framework positions.The OpportunityReporting directly to the Board, you will play a pivotal role in converting framework access into tangible revenue, strengthening relationships with existing partners, and positioning the business as a preferred delivery partner for large-scale Net Zero, energy efficiency, and social housing projects across the UK.This is a strategic yet hands-on role, offering a clear pathway to build and lead a high-performing BD team within 12–24 months as growth targets are achieved.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and execute the business development strategy across Tier 1 frameworks, social housing, and local authority partnerships, with a strong focus on Net Zero and sustainability-driven projects.Drive new revenue streams through proactive engagement and relationship building across public sector and major contractor networks.Maximise value from existing framework positions and ensure the business remains front-of-mind for key opportunities.Collaborate with internal delivery teams to produce compelling bids and ensure excellent client outcomes.Develop and deliver commercial strategies that align with business objectives and support sustainable growth.About YouProven experience in senior business development roles within construction, social housing, retrofit, or sustainability sectors.Strong understanding of public sector procurement, frameworks, and Tier 1 partnership dynamics.Demonstrable success in securing high-value contracts within Net Zero, energy efficiency, or decarbonisation programmes.Commercially astute with a strategic mindset and strong relationship management skills.Capable of leading from the front while inspiring and developing a high-performance BD culture.What We Offer£70,000 £75,000 base salary with up to £140,000 OTE (performance-linked, uncapped).Car allowance and comprehensive benefits package.Access to established frameworks and strong existing client relationships.National operational capability and delivery support for high-volume, multi-site programmes.Genuine opportunity to shape the BD function and play a key leadership role in the companys next stage of growth.A forward-thinking, collaborative culture focused on innovation, quality, and sustainability.If you're a results-driven business development leader with a passion for Net Zero, public sector partnerships, and sustainable growth, we'd be delighted to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr
