We have 2 vacancies at 24 and 25 hours per week. The working pattern will be Monday to Friday 5 days per week with a combination of starting at 7.45 a.m. and finishing at 6.30 p.m. and a Saturday morning 8.45 a.m. to 1.15 p.m. within reception rota (pro‑rata). We’re looking for a warm, organised, and proactive Patient Advisor to join our friendly team and help ensure every patient feels truly cared for from the first hello. We are a professional and friendly GP Practice looking after around 13,500 patients based in the Wednesfield/Bushbury area. Main duties of the job Welcoming and assisting patients both in person and over the phone Online triage, scheduling appointments, updating records, and handling enquiries with empathy and professionalism Liaising with clinical staff to ensure a smooth patient journey Care navigation, offering guidance on services, referrals, and next steps in care What We’re Looking For A confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills Computer literate and ideally have experience of clinical systems Someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment and keeps their cool under pressure A team player with great attention to detail and IT confidence Previous experience in a healthcare setting and experience in customer service within a General Practice environment. It is essential for the successful candidate to be flexible and adaptable to a changing and busy environment. There is an expectation to cover for annual leave/sickness purposes and this could be at short notice. About us We are a professional and friendly GP Practice looking after around 13,500 patients based in the Wednesfield/Bushbury area. The practice has recently relocated to a purpose‑built medical centre. Person Specification Experience Previous experience working in a busy Medical Practice is preferred but not essential.
