Graduate Science Technician Location: Newham, London Salary: 95 - 120 per day (depending on experience) Full time Secondary School Starting date: January 2026 Free CPD and Constant support with interviewing and teaching An exciting opportunity has presented itself for a diligent and self‑motivated graduate science technician within a well‑known Newham based secondary school. You must be a recent science‑related degree holder, have relevant lab‑based experience (this could include experience during your university course). A passion for science and the ability to pass this onto young learners. Their teachers believe that ensuring students enjoy learning will also make them want to dig deeper, explore further and develop their own interest and motivation to learn more. Requirements Recent science graduate (graduated in the last 2 years) Right to work in the UK Available immediately Up to date enhanced DBS (or willing to process one for 63) Person Summary The main purpose of this role is to support the Science department in all aspects of practical work and demonstrations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive, friendly and professional environment. The ideal person will have good scientific knowledge and a keen interest in working in a busy school environment; a flexible approach and be willing to actively seek to develop their own learning to enhance the service delivered.
