Our relentless dedication to making a meaningful impact in healthcare has helped us become one of the fastest-growing companies in the UK.Apprenticeship OverviewOur Science Manufacturing Technician apprenticeship programme combines hands‑on experience with expert‑led instruction to build deep competency in aseptic processing, cleanroom operations, contamination control and regulatory compliance.Key ResponsibilitiesAseptic Manufacturing & Support Operations:Set up raw materials, containers, and equipment required for aseptic manufacturing, following GMP documentation and customer priorities.Perform routine and thorough cleaning and decontamination of cleanroom areas according to daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.Perform transfer sanitisation on raw materials and consumables.Quality Control & Compliance:Conduct visual inspection of finished products in line with product quality standards.Carry out environmental monitoring and report deviations in accordance with SOPs.Perform quality control checks on materials and products, ensuring they meet specifications and are released appropriately.QualificationsEnglish and Mathematics GCSE grades A–C (or equivalent).A keen interest in the Pharmaceutical Industry (Aseptic/ QC/Laboratory).High level of attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures.Strong communication and teamwork skills.High computer literacy, including experience with Microsoft Office.Training and DevelopmentUpon successful completion of this 22‑month apprenticeship there is potential for progression into Compounding and Release, supporting your continued development and career growth.Whether you’re just starting out or looking to advance your skills, the Target Skills Academy is the place to develop into confident, compliant future‑ready professional – driving quality, innovation and impact across the industry.Training CourseScience Manufacturing Technician 2023 – Equal to Level 3 (A level)Training PlanScience Manufacturing Technician 2023 Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.Training will take place at your location of work, with weekly teaching sessions and additional support as required.Additional Training InformationSkills4 is a pharmacy apprenticeship training provider dedicated to initiating and furthering the careers of Pharmacy Technicians, Science Manufacturing Technicians (SMT), Science Manufacturing Process Operatives and Pharmacy Services Assistants.We take pride in delivering high‑quality training programmes to apprentices and have a team of tutors ready to guide and support apprentices on their journey to certification.Training to be ProvidedScience Manufacturing Technician Level 3 #J-18808-Ljbffr
