Barnardo's is looking for a motivated and experienced Area Business Manager to lead our retail teams across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex, driving income that directly supports vulnerable children and young people across the UK. The role is full time (36.25 hours per week), permanent and home based with regular visits to stores across Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex. The ideal location for the candidate would be in Suffolk or North/East Essex as the majority of the stores are closer to this geography. What You'll Be Doing: As Area Business Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall performance of a portfolio of retail stores. Your focus will be on: Maximising sales, profit and income through strategic store management Leading and inspiring store managers to deliver exceptional customer service and strong commercial results Ensuring consistent operational standards across all locations Managing budgets, KPIs, staffing, merchandising and compliance Identifying opportunities to improve performance, grow revenue, and optimise the retail estate Generating the money we need to make children's lives better is a truly fulfilling role so if you'd like to use your talent to make a positive difference then we would love to hear from you The full Job description and Person profile is available below.
