Customer Services Supervisor – Front of House Assembly RoomsSalary: £26,337‑£28,835 (pro‑rata for part time) Hours: 0 per week – casual contractBe the calm, confident lead on the front line of live events.We're looking for a confident, organised Front of House Supervisor to join our events team across the Assembly Rooms and Church Hill Theatre.You don't need years of experience, but you do need great communication, a calm head and the confidence to support a team during busy events. You'll help run the front of house operation at everything from sold out comedy and live music to weddings, conferences, festivals and community productions.One shift you might be briefing the team and managing ticket checks, the next you could be overseeing ushers in a full auditorium or supporting the bar and cloakroom to keep things moving.Shifts are varied and flexible, making this a great step up for someone with some customer service or event experience who's ready for more responsibility.Full training is provided and you'll build solid experience in team leadership, audience management and event delivery in two of Edinburgh's busiest cultural venues.If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you.We're committed to creating a workplace culture where all our people feel valued, included and able to be their best at work, and we recognise the benefits that a diverse workforce with different values, beliefs, experience and backgrounds brings to us as an organisation.We are changing the way we interview and assess candidates by moving from a competency‑based approach to a behavioural and technical (skills for the job) based approach.
