As an Electronics / RF Engineer at Awerian, you will be at the forefront of this innovation race by helping to defend and protect the UK from the latest technological and cyber threats.ResponsibilitiesOperate at the boundary of technological exploration by inventing new solutions and enhancing existing hardware.Typically involve analysis, computational modelling, prototype design, invention, laboratory testing, process development, and manufacturing.Collaborate with elite multi-disciplinary teams of scientists, engineers, and designers to create prototypes through Awerian’s rapid approach to design and implementation.Requirements3+ years of relevant experience in electronics development, in particular RF PCB design and characterisation, with a proven track record of design and implementation of technological solutions, and a relevant degree.Proven experience with RF design tools (e.g., ADS, Microwave Office, CST) is essential.Desirable: RADAR or communications applications; Microwave RF design; End-to-end electronics development and test; High speed digital PCB design; Antenna design; DSP; Scripting for test and modelling (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, Python).Broad experience across sectors; previous or current defence industry experience is desirable but not essential.Why Awerian?Awerian are a defence and security technology consultancy comprised of ~40 scientists and engineers.
