Senior RF Engineer

Join the IC Resources team as a Senior RF Engineer. We are a long‑established technology consultancy delivering complex RF, sensing and communications systems across sectors such as defence, security, IoT, autonomous platforms and advanced robotics. Responsibilities Design, simulate and test RF/microwave circuits and subassemblies (e.g., LNAs, PAs, filters, synthesizers). Contribute to RF system architecture for communications and sensing solutions. Perform hands‑on bring‑up, verification and optimisation using modern RF lab equipment (VNA, spectrum analyser, anechoic testing on site). Communicate technical detail clearly to internal teams and non‑technical stakeholders. Collaborate with specialists across electronics, antennas, systems, embedded software and mechanical engineering. Qualifications Degree in Electronic Engineering or a similar discipline. Experience developing RF‑based circuits or RF sub‑systems. Proven track record taking designs from concept into validated prototypes/devices. Strong simulation and measurement background in RF and microwave design. Useful (not Essential) Radio or radar systems‑level exposure. Leadership or mentoring experience. Mixed‑signal / digital design knowledge. mmWave development experience. Benefits Diverse, technical, challenge‑led project work. Modern lab facilities and access to experienced technical mentors.
