About the role As our first dedicated People Ops Associate, you’ll work directly with the COO to design and run the systems that make InsurX scale from hiring and onboarding to performance, culture, and compliance. This is a builder role: part architect, part operator. You’ll help us create a high-performance environment where clarity, accountability, and growth are the norm. What you'll do Build systems that scale Design and implement the core people infrastructure (hiring, onboarding, performance, progression, L&D) that supports our next phase of growth. Turn what’s implicit today into simple, reliable processes that free teams to perform. Partner with leadership to embed our values and strengthen our culture as we grow. Run smooth, compliant operations Own the employee lifecycle from offer to exit, ensuring a consistent, excellent experience. Keep our HRIS (Revolut People) and records flawless, compliant, and audit‑ready. Partner with Finance and Payroll for zero‑friction monthly operations and manage visa sponsorships. Enable performance and engagement Drive quarterly performance and promotion cycles, ensuring they’re fair, fast, and feedback‑driven. Analyse people data (eNPS, turnover, DEI) to spot trends and take action. Run engagement and wellbeing initiatives that strengthen belonging and motivation. Attract and retain top talent Partner with hiring managers on end‑to‑end recruitment: building diverse, high‑quality pipelines. Lead employer‑branding initiatives to position InsurX as the destination for top insurance and tech talent. Continuously refine our onboarding experience to accelerate ramp‑up and retention. About you Proactive operator: You enjoy taking an idea from zero to one - spotting gaps, bringing clarity where there is ambiguity, and designing systems that make work smoother for others. Exceptionally organised: You care about the details. You build systems that make life easier for others and take pride in operational excellence. Clear, confident communicator: You write and speak with precision, and you’re comfortable collaborating across every part of the business - from new joiners to senior leadership. Naturally people‑centred: You enjoy helping others do their best work. You bring empathy, discretion, and good judgement to situations big and small.
