You'll be part of a team that values fresh ideas, cares deeply about doing things the right way, and loves finding smart, human ways to make Kroo an even better place to work.ResponsibilitiesRecruitment & OnboardingSupport with full-cycle recruitment interview scheduling, and candidate communicationsOnboarding & OffboardingOversee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring smooth transitions and consistent employee experienceCollaboration for OnboardingCollaborate with IT and People Ops to ensure smooth onboarding setup (equipment, access, workspace) for new joinersCulture, Engagement & CommunicationsDevelop and deliver employee engagement initiatives, including surveys, recognition programmes, and wellbeing eventsCompany-wide Communications & EventsOwn the organisation and delivery of company-wide communications and events, including the fortnightly all-hands meetingDiversity & InclusionPlay an active role in the Diversity & Inclusion Committee, driving data-led strategies and inclusive initiativesOffice & Facilities ManagementOversee office and facilities operations across London and Manchester, ensuring safe, efficient, and engaging workplacesPeople Operations & Policy ManagementSupport with the policy management process, maintaining the policy calendar, ensuring adherence to review cycles, and facilitating committee approvalsRisk & Compliance CollaborationPartner with Risk & Compliance to embed training and process adherence for key policies (e.g. anti-bribery, conduct rules, conflicts of interest)People Operations WorkflowsMaintain and continuously improve key people operations workflows including joiners-movers-leavers, probation tracking, L&D budget tracking, and employee handbook updatesHR Vendor ManagementOversee HR vendor management and procurement, negotiating contracts and coordinating renewals through the budget approval processCompensation, Benefits & DataMaintain data-driven frameworks, including salary matrices aligned to competencies and operational performanceData Analysis & Payroll SupportSupport with data analysis to inform decisions on employee benefits, engagement, and cost efficiencyPayroll & Benefits AdministrationSupport monthly payroll preparation and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and complianceQualificationsStrong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities at once.Confident communicator with strong written and verbal skillsPositive, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude with a genuine interest in people, culture, and making the workplace a great environment.Comfortable working with spreadsheets, shared drives, and HR systems; confident learning new tools and processes quickly.Able to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.A problem-solver who takes initiative and follows through - spots opportunities to improve processes and makes things happen.Strong team player who enjoys supporting others and working collaboratively across teams.Some previous experience in an administrative, HR, recruitment, or operations role is helpful but not essential — training and support will be providedBenefitsGenerous holiday time: 25 days annual leave, 8 bank holidays, 1 Kroo bank holiday (June 24th), and 1 day off during the week of your birthdayPersonal days: 3 personal days to use as neededEmployer-sponsored volunteer program: up to 4 hours per month of employer-sponsored volunteer timeMental health support: access to Spill, our mental health support partnerWorkplace pension: 5% employee contribution and 3% employer top-upTop-notch equipment: MacBook laptop and support for home office setup if requiredModern office: Central London workspaceCycle to Work schemeElectric Car schemeEnhanced parental leaveRoom for growthFull healthcare for you and your nuclear family via VitalityWorking arrangementHybrid/ flexible policy with regular 2-3 days per week in the London office to support collaboration.Diversity and InclusionWe uphold our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
