We call this "Our Nottinghamshire Approach". We are seeking an experienced and passionate leader to oversee all family support functions within the Gedling Family Hub Network, making a real difference in the lives of families across Nottinghamshire. Responsibilities Provide strategic oversight and ensure service performance meets local priorities and aligns with government policy, guidance, and initiatives. Take responsibility for line management of Family Support Practitioners within the network, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence. Be a key member of the locality leadership team, deputising in the absence of the Family Hub Network Manager. Work alongside partners to build family resilience and drive system change. Champion joined‑up, efficient local services that identify families in need and deliver the right support at the right time. Offer direct support to families with complex needs from conception until their child reaches the age of 19. Essential Requirements NVQ Level 3 in a relevant subject. Five GCSEs at level A*‑C (including English) or equivalent, with proven ability in a previous work setting. A minimum of five years’ experience of working directly with families, children, young people and their families. At least two years’ experience of supporting parents/carers and delivering evidence‑based interventions or group work programmes. Able to work collaboratively within a team and manage staff performance against outcomes and targets, demonstrating the ability to drive a team towards achieving key outcomes.
