We call this "Our Nottinghamshire Approach". Nottinghamshire County Council’s Statutory SEND Service is seeking an advanced practitioner to lead a team in progressing Education Health Care Needs Assessments (EHCNA) and maintaining all Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) for children and young people with SEND. What We’re Looking For In-depth knowledge of SEND legislation, particularly the Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEND Code of Practice. Advanced professional leadership, mentoring, and support with quality assurance across the EHC Assessment Team. Experience leading and supporting complex EHC casework, including mediations, tribunals, and complaints. Capacity to support and develop staff capability through coaching and reflective supervision. Drive continuous improvement in EHC processes, ensuring compliance, quality, and positive outcomes.
